COMPETITIONS

Posters for our competitions were sent out electronically to Club Reps, this was met with positive feedback, thank you to our Reps for printing them out.  Working with the web team we have now enabled a portal (a green button from the Upcoming Events  (page) for ladies to register for competitions via the website It’s really easy, however if you’re not so tech savvy you can also enter through your Club Rep.  Entries are now open for the Silver Spring Meeting/Championship and the Bronze Spring Meeting, both of which are being played at Darlington in early May.  Pauline Baxter, our Vice Captain will oversee the Bronze Competition and is very much looking forward to meeting you all.  Pauline will also be the ‘Captain’ of the Bronze teams to play against Northumberland on 19 July at The City of Newcastle and Cumbria at Barnard Castle on 4 August, teams are selected from those playing in the Spring Meeting. We are delighted to be receiving entries to many of our competitions, thank you for your support.  The closing date for competitions will be 2 weeks before the fixture date.

We use a Club V1 system, some of you may be aware of it through your home club. It manages our members demographics and will be used to run our competitions, it’s a live link to England Golf so handicap updates will happen after all qualifying competitions.
